FUCK YEAH
FUCK YEAH
For days i had been thinking about this. What could i possibly write in a news post if we really manage to get Kil'jaeden down in time. Prepatch, prenerf anyway.
I just don't want to go the old naming and shaming route. There would just be the same names again and those know already how much i appreciate them, the members who went to their limits know, the officers, old and new, the classleaders, everyone who had been a part of this, actively playing or not. The great community that Furious is today.
Then i thought about just ranting, about the indecency how some people left the guild behind when they were needed the most just to get carried by another guild or to drown in the sadness of their own elitism. About how the good atmosphere that had always been there got completely raped by just a few egocentric individuals, but it's probably not worth it anymore. It all turned out to be good in the end, eventually anyway.
I could tell endless stories about the doubts i had, about how i had been close to giving up several times, but that just lost its relevance. There had always been someone cheering me up in the end, thank god.
I had something in mind like writing about devotion to the guild, dedication and loyalty, how we managed to get there in the end but i just don't seem to develop any flow for such thing at the moment.
But what's the fuzz about anyway, it is finally game over for Furious, just in time. One hour before the servers went down for maintenance, 0:55. After three heartbreaking wipes at 1%. And then everyone was alive at the killing blow. Typical.
So much relief right there. All the tension gone, all the trouble of the past two months washed away.
I am just left to say thank you, everyone, who made this TBC experience truly worth it. If one kill throughout these last 18 months really meant anything to me, then it was this one.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
